Bridges Festival is an international puppetry festival for families taking place during March Break. This year all of our activities are online so you can enjoy some world class programs from the safety and comfort of your home.
We offer live streamed shows, workshops and interactive activities for kids. Research shows that puppetry actually reduces behavioural problems in pre-school aged children.
Our mission is to inspire and ignite imagination, sense of wonder, playfulness and creativity of children and adults alike.
Bridges Festival is produced by Crane Creations Theatre Company, a local not for profit, artists run theatre company dedicated to the production and presentation of professional theatre in Mississauga.

Bridges Festival is a three day puppetry festival taking place in Mississauga, March 12th -14th 2022. It is filled with exciting shows, engaging workshops and panels, that celebrate traditional forms of puppetry and the skills of the puppet designers and performers, while expanding the conversation of what is puppetry and animation and how it touches the contemporary world. The festival takes place in various locations all over Mississauga, with a variety of shows and performances available for all ages and families to enjoy!
