Bumble Bee Watch in High Park

Track, record and help us conserve bumble bees and other native pollinators in High Park at this community science event.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Celebrate Pollinator Week in High Park with Bumble Bee Watch, a community science project dedicated to tracking and conserving bumble bees! Participants will walk through High Park looking for bumble bees and other native pollinators, recording their sightings and learning about the significant role they play in our ecosystems.

Note: Bees and other pollinators are wild animals and are on their own timetables. We might not see or hear any during the event – and that’s OK too! Not seeing pollinators is still important community science data. The absence of pollinators can be a useful indicator of the health of an ecosystem.
