After more than 80 years on stage, The Church of the Holy Trinity's pageant of The Christmas Story has been reinvented into a remarkable new film presenting the classic Nativity story against the backdrop of life in an urban centre in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. Shot outside and socially distanced with professional crew and volunteer performers in the crisp light of late fall, the tale of Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus takes on deep new resonance.

The story of a vulnerable family seeking shelter is scored with beautiful choral music and is suffused with the true meaning of Christmas. Experience this ground-breaking and uplifting family-friendly pageant as you've never seen it before. The Christmas Story’s streamed premiere takes place December 11, 2020 at 7pm, and the film will be available on demand thereafter, by donation ($10 suggested).
