A Dickens of a Tea - Pickering Museum Village

Charles Dickens did a North American tour in 1842 and performed readings of the Pickwick Papers and Oliver Twist at St. Lawrence Hall in Toronto. The following year he published A Christmas Carol. Dickens made much mention of food in his books, many of which will be featured in this full-course tea and talk, October 4, 2020.
