Horseback Riding along the Beach and Hiking

Our next stop will be at Morningstar Mill. Morningstar Mill is one of the few mills in Ontario that houses all its original equipment, and operates its millstones using the original water source. The mill provides a rare glimpse back in time to when moving water was still used to mechanically grind grain into flour. We will be visiting mill on their milling days!!! Please note that being able to mill is dependent on having an adequate water flow.
We will also visit Ball's Falls Conservation Area. Ball’s Falls Conservation Area offers spectacular scenery and natural beauty. The visit will begin visit will begin at the Ball’s Falls Centre for Conservation. Designed and built to have a limited impact on natural resources this award winning LEED Gold certified facility features permanent and temporary galleries. You can visit exhibits and displays focusing on nature, conservation and culture in the context of the area’s history, the Niagara Escarpment, and the watershed.
You can enjoy incredibly breathtaking view of the majestic Twenty Mile Creek as it plummets over both the upper and lower falls. The falls tumble delightfully over high cliffs and can be viewed at close proximity from above or below.
The hiking trail to lower falls is 1.3 km long and takes about 40 minutes and hiking trail to upper falls is 1.7 km long and takes about 50 min.
Price $179 includes:
- Return transport from Toronto by 12 passenger van or minivan
- 1 -1/2 hour guided horseback riding along the beach
- Guided hiking at Ball's Falls Conservation Area
- Guided tour at Morningstar Mill
- Park Fees
- Lunch package (cold cut sandwich, bottle of water and snack)

- Tour guide gratuity (Optional, but if you are happy with the tour we recommend to tip your tour guide)

8.30 am - York Mills Subway Pick up, meeting in front of Starbucks
9.00 am - Dufferin Mall Pick up, meeting is in front of the Beer Store (Dufferin Street Parking Lot)
9.45 am - Square one, meeting at the parking lot in front of Chapters

10.45 am - 12.30 pm - Morningstars Mills, lunch
1.00 pm - 2.00 pm - Ball's Falls Conservation Area hiking
2.45 pm - 5.00 pm - Horseback riding along the beach
5.00 pm - leaving to Toronto
Please note that arrival time back to Toronto can be changed depending on traffic situation, weather conditions etc. The latest arrival time shouldn't be longer than 8 pm so please plan your day around this time of arrival.

Payments
We require the full amount to be paid via e-transfer, credit card or cash before the trip.
You may pay a 50% deposit at the time of your booking however the remaining balance must be paid 30 days before the trip.
