In 2012, Amsterdam’s Busch Trio formed at the Royal College of Music, London. They have appeared on Europe’s major stages: Wigmore Hall, Berlin’s Konzerthaus, and the Concertgebouw. The Times described them as having ‘effortless musicianship’, The Gramophone as a ‘true delight from start to finish’ and Süddeutsche Zeitung as ‘the leading piano trio of their generation’. They won the 2016 Kersjes Prijs (Netherlands) and 2018 Nordmetall-Ensemble (Mecklenburg Festival). Their 2023 Ravel, Shostakovich album was selected as a chamber choice BBC Music Magazine.
They play rare instruments by Guadagnini (1783) and Ceruti (1815). Their program includes piano trios by Haydn, Schumann, and Beethoven, Op. 97 Archduke.
