This new program gives campers a taste of overnight camping at Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) beautiful Lake St. George Field Centre in Richmond Hill.
Campers will spend the first day of camp on site at Harbourfront Centre in preparation for their experience.
On Tuesday, they will travel by bus to Lake St. George where they will be housed in the Bond House dormitory, a climate-controlled facility with washroom and shower facilities.
Campers will participate in winter ecology activities, arts and crafts, and active games and sports, returning on Friday afternoon with new skills and a sense of independence!
