Jamaican-born, Halifax-based vocalist Jah’Mila finds her groove with Barrett Principal Education Conductor and Community Ambassador Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser and the TSO in a program that reflects on the social, cultural, and spiritual importance of the magical musical genre that has shaped Jamaica and touched the world.
Toronto Symphony Orchestra Young People's Concerts are perfect for ages 5–12 and fabulous for the young at heart. Bring your family to experience Reggae alongside your Orchestra through music and storytelling in a captivating one-hour performance.
Concert times are 1:30pm, 4:00pm, and a special Relaxed Performance at 11am.
The Toronto Symphony Orchestra’s Relaxed Performances are intended to be sensitive to and welcoming of neurodiverse audiences, including patrons on the autism spectrum, those with sensory and communication disorders, people with learning disabilities, or those who simply want a more relaxed concert experience.
