WINTERSONG warms the hearts of family audiences with a breathtaking tapestry of seasonal dance inspired by the world’s rich solstice traditions. A world premiere by Dora Award-winning choreographer Hanna Kiel highlights the program, set to an original score by Greg Harrison and Frances Miller. Also featured are the return of Against the Dark by Colin Connor (Artistic Director, Limón Dance Company), Sylvie Bouchard’s exquisite Petits rêves, Apolonia Velasquez’s hyper-kinetic contemporary street dance fusion UNHUSH, and Carol Anderson’s signature creation for the mid-winter season, Nowell Sing We.
