A 3 week program in Toronto's west end combining outdoor exploration, team sports, arts and collaborative media projects (photography and film), SEL (social-emotional activities) and field trips. Our program includes 2 weeks of building a community within the camp, a family festival weekend at Haute Goat Farm in Port Hope and a final week doing daily field trips to fun and engaging spots (ex. art, STEM, martial arts, rock climbing, etc).

Camp Gedi is not just a camp; it's a transformative experience designed for children ages 5-10, centered around Radical Empathy, Intergenerational Community, Compassionate Inquiry, Experiential Learning, and Collaborative Partnership.
Each 3 week session is divided into:
Building Our Community- The first 2 weeks is spent creating community including team sports & games, nature exploration, orienteering, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) activities, yoga & meditation and collaborative creative projects including filmmaking, photography, drama, visual arts and mixed media. (Location: King's Mill Park)
Family Festival Weekend - After the second week of camp, parents/caregivers will be invited to join the community their children have built. Participate in activities aligned with your child's camp learning, enjoy delicious farm to table food and sleep under the stars. (Location: Haute Goat Farm in Port Hope, ON- bussing available. Sat morning-Sunday afternoon) ).
Explore Surrounding Community: The final week will be spent exploring our community. Campers will visit a different site every day learning about surrounding neighbourhoods, participating in unique activities and experiences, and volunteering at community organizations and events. (Location: combo of indoors and outdoors in west end- campers will travel by TTC)
Fast Facts:
Campers are ages 5-10 (turning 5 in 2024)
25 kids max per session
Ratio is 6:1 (2 Ontario Certified teachers and 2 teaching assistants per group)
Hours are 9-4, with aftercare available at an additional fee until 5:30pm
