Join us at YMCA Camp Kenan for an exciting Summer Camp Open House held on-site at our beautiful camp on the shores of Lake Ontario! This special event is the perfect opportunity for families to explore camp, meet our friendly staff, and experience the fun and adventure that make Camp Kenan a summer tradition.
This year’s Open House themes are Artists & Archers Assemble and Soar & Exlore, giving children and families a hands-on introduction to some of the amazing activities campers enjoy each summer. Take aim at our archery range, where experienced instructors will guide you through the basics of the sport in a fun and safe environment. Then, unleash your creativity in our arts and crafts area, where you can paint, create, and express yourself with exciting camp-inspired projects. Or you can spread your wings on our zipline, where our certified staff will send you zipping across our atheltic field. Then, strap on your hiking boots for a nature hike with our seasoned instructors around camp.
Throughout the event, families can tour the campgrounds, visit cabins, and learn about our overnight and day camp programs. Our knowledgeable staff will be available to answer questions about camp life, safety, activities, and registration. Kids will also get to participate in mini-games and classic camp fun while parents explore what makes YMCA Camp Kenan such a special place for growth, friendship, and adventure.
