*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 07/31/2019
DIY Drop-In Bike Repair: Learn to fix and maintain your bike with the help of our friendly staff and volunteers. No appointment necessary. Learn how to tune-up your bike, how to fix a flat, how to adjust your brakes and more. Bring your bike, we’ll provide the tools.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Test an E-bike: A bike with pedal-assist can help you ride further and longer. It can be a good substitute for the car, helping you reduce your greenhouse gas emissions. Drop by the hub to give one a try. You will complete a personal transportation audit to help you identify everyday trips that could be completed by e-bike. You will then receive training on the features of the e-bike. We’ll provide you with a helmet, and you will be able to test the e-bike out in a cordoned off area of the parking lot.
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
