Linda draws inspiration from the natural world, but the abstraction in her art, with alternate textures and both vivid and muted colours, is intended to provoke thoughts and feelings in the viewer which transcend the ordinary. This series emphasizes the many facets of rocks and natural surfaces as well as water, with emphasis on the unexpected juxtaposition of the bold power against the serenity of nature.
