Roots 2 Rise Outdoors is excited to collaborate with Chava Farms for an unique Farm/Forest experience. We will have the opportunity to explore over 20 acres of fields, a serene running creek, and diverse forest and farm landscapes through our play-based, child-led learning approach. Led by experienced educators, our curriculum features experiences that cultivate connection.
Through our unique program flow, we integrate group games, creative arts, music, fire building, storytelling, and open-ended play and moments of stillness. We will be spending time daily with the amazing animals and each will be taking part in engaging hands-on activities in the sustainable vegetable gardens.
Option for bussing from Promenade Mall, Thornhill. Before and after care options available from 8:00AM-9:00AM and 4:00PM-5:00PM.
In other exciting news, we have been working along side Kerry Maisels Behaviour Consulting (KMBC) to create a training that focuses on creating inclusive spaces in the outdoors! All of the Roots 2 Rise Outdoors team will be receiving this training, and Kerry and her team will be available to provide individualized supports to children.
