First Day of Play & Clay Classes

In the world of clay, anything is possible!
In this weekly clay class, learners will gain confidence in clay making by learning the basics of two types of air-dry clay. First is bouncing clay, a colourful, squishy, foam-like clay that is fun and easy to shape. The other is muddy, sculptor's clay, that we can paint when dry.

Term length: 6 classes
Get ready to have decorative structures, charming characters, and functional art pieces!
Students will learn to shape, mould, sculpt and most importantly, showcase their imagination through 3D art!
We'll start each project by brainstorming and designing our ideas based on the project's theme, then spend the next couple of classes making our ideas come to life with clay! In each new project, they will continue to build on their pre-existing/learned concepts.
This term's projects include monster creatures with bouncing clay and a functional pencil holder with sculptor's clay!
Availability:
- Saturdays, 1:40 PM to 2:40 PM from Sept 27 to Nov 8. 2025
- Mondays, 4:40 PM to 5:40 PM from Sept 29 to Nov 10, 2025
