March Break: Makerspace at Markham Museum

General Admission Fees and Hours
Markham Museum will be open Monday March 11 to Friday March 15 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Exhibitions
Explore our exhibits Markham Moves, A Picture of Markham: The Art of Pat Wheeler, and our newest exhibition: Markham Community Makers! Learn about Markham history, editorial cartoons, building, 3D printing, transportation, and growth in Markham with these three popular, interactive exhibit spaces.
Makerspace
Our Transportation Hall is transformed into a Makerspace. Explore a wide variety of STEAM activities as a family! Try your hand at 3D-printing, race to code a robot, make your own button, and experience even more crafts and activities.
GENERAL ADMISSION- Outside Activities
Guided Tours
Take a guided tour around our 25-acre site and learn about some of our historic buildings! Tours will be offered at 11:00 and 2:00 every day during March Break.
Blacksmith Demonstrations
Learn about the historic craft of blacksmithing with Fallen Willow Forge in our Blacksmith Shop! This 1820’s building will be open and hosting demonstrations all throughout March Break. Visit our blacksmith and learn about the artisanship behind this important trade.
Snowshoeing (weather permitting)
Explore our 25-acre site by snowshoe! Museum staff will help you get fitted with a pair of our snowshoes, and you can explore the museum grounds looking for wildlife tracks and enjoying winter weather.
