Creative Dimensions DJ Workshop for youth ages 8 and up DJ Classes for youth instructed by Joseph "DJ Dimension" Mercado , is designed to introduce kids to the increasingly popular and expressive art form of DJing. Through this hands-on workshop experience, your child will learn the fundamentals of beatmatching, mixing, and scratching, all while exploring their own creativity.
Minimum Requirements - Youth 8 and up - Tablet / Ipad / PC - Algoriddim DJay App (Free Version is ok ) - Access to video camera, headphones with mic for online sessions DJ Class will cover the following topics: - Intro to DJ software, Organizing a playlist - Intro to mixer functions. beat matching; volume, EQing, - History of DJ culture and forms of media such as turntables, tape decks, CD players - How to set up equipment to properly operate gear - Tips about ways DJ / Audio skills can be used creatively to enhance life skills and gain insight to music careers
