Roots 2 Rise Outdoors offers exploratory programs that are child-led and play-based. These programs take place in ravines and forests throughout Toronto and surrounding areas. Our programs offer a space for children to develop a love of learning and connection to the natural world. We will be running half-day, week long summer programs (Monday-Friday) 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm in the Cedarvale Ravine. Our programs are typically mixed ages for kids 4-8 years old.

Through a consistent daily rhythm we incorporate elements of storytelling, exploration, group games, creative art experiences, songs, journalling, mindfulness, open-ended play, and time to slow down to tune into the natural world. The experiences that we offer activate imagination, play, curiosity, working together and careful listening.

Program details:

Summer Dates: July 4th, 2022 - September 2nd, 2022

**Weekly options are listed on the registration form

Times: 9am-12pm OR 1pm-4pm

Ages: 4-10 (Programs are mixed ages, unless otherwise specified by a group booking.)

Drop off programs:

Ages 4 to 10 - Must be toilet trained

Confirmation and payment details will be sent out as soon as we have a minimum of 8 children.
Maximum of 12 children per group
2 educators per group
$270/child - 3 hours/day (Monday - Friday)
