Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
A total solar eclipse is a rare event. How will your favourite animals respond to the full coverage of the sun by the moon?
What will you observe?
The sun will be covered, and during this dark period, we're interested in the activity levels of our animals and any changes in their behaviours. We are asking for YOUR help recording the animals during this unique event!
The main event of the solar eclipse will be most noticeable at approximately 2:55pm to 3:05pm EST.
Zoo hours are 9:30am to 4:30pm. We encourage guests to arrive in advance of the main event to get situated at your favourite animal’s habitat and get ready to OBSERVE!
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
