ALPHA II is a grade 7-12 school in the Toronto District School Board. This is a 'free school', where kids do not follow the regular Ontario curriculum and instead self-direct their learning. They use their interests, skills and goals and decide what and how they learn! Students at ALPHA do not earn credits or a diploma but instead create a portfolio of work and develop a toolbelt of skills they can carry forward into post-secondary academics or careers.
