The Barrett STEAM Academy — an immersive, hands-on experience for elementary and secondary students — launches this Fall at the Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation at Humber Polytechnic. To inspire students in STEAM, the Academy will leverage real-world problem-solving, encourage curiosity and creativity and provide diverse experiences while integrating science, technology, engineering, arts & math to empower future innovators.
Funded by the Barrett Family Foundation, the Barrett STEAM Academy invites students to embark on 12 Saturdays of fun, experiential learning in state-of-the-art labs beginning September 13, 2025. From coding and robotics to 3D design and webpage development, future innovators will unleash their talent!
Registration is now open for students in Grades 6-8 (Junior Academy: 1-4PM) and Grades 9-12 (Senior Academy: 9AM – 12pm).
