Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

LEGO Robotics (Gr. 1-2) is an introductory course for students to develop their engineering, design, and programming skills. They will be using tools such as the LEGO Essential Kit and the LEGO Education SPIKE app to design, build and modify a variety of projects designed to solve real-life problems. Students will learn about electricity and energy transfer concepts, develop problem solving skills through iterative design, and drag-and-drop coding skills to power and control their projects. Students will explore the possibilities of engineering by expanding their knowledge of LEGO brick structures to include the use of motors, gears, and sensors!
