Business/organization type:
What our organization offers:
Providing children and youth programs that foster skills for human-centered innovation and technological design. The STEAM Project’s STEM Summer Camps are where campers develop their skills, mindsets, and experiences through design challenges, problem-solving activities, and group projects.
The STEAM Project was founded by three high school science teachers to help teach youth skills that will prepare them for an exciting future of scientific and technological innovation and give them practice in thoughtful, human-centred design.
Our programs support and foster imagination and creativity by providing youth with hands-on experiences and skill development using various materials and new and emerging technologies.
Our first principle is "Design with Purpose" which fosters empathy by focusing on solving problems aimed at benefiting and improving the lives of others.
The STEAM Project’s science activities for kids helps youth from JK to Post Secondary develop the skills necessary to thrive in the modern age by preparing them with the tools, literacy, and social skills critical for success
